'We just wanted to say thank you for your leadership of Annandale Public School. Yesterday was our daughter's last day of primary school. And our last day as primary school parents. My son began at Annadale in 2015, and it is bittersweet to be ending an almost decade long association with the school. Both of our kids have come out of their primary school experience on the right side of normal - not perfect, but kind, empathetic and confident young people - and I am so grateful for that. I want to acknowledge that a chunk of that can be attributed to the school, their teachers, their friends and the wider Annadale PS community (including the wonderful Aftercare staff). I really believe in public education; it is a conscious choice for us to send our children to public schools. Thank you for making that choice an easy one, we have not felt a second of regret about it' - a Year 6 parent of Annandale Public School.
