Annandale Public School Early Intervention (EI)

We endeavour to provide opportunities for all children to achieve individual milestones and set goals to the highest standards. The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) in conjunction with the NSW curriculum guides the program delivered at APS. This framework focuses on children's development and their lives as characterised by Belonging, Being and Becoming.

Belonging

Belonging is integral to who children are and who they become; recognising that children belong to their family, culture, heritage and community.

Being

Being is about acknowledging the present and the children learning about themselves, making connections and forming relationships with others and engaging in life's joys and complexities being in the moment.

Becoming

Many events shape the lives of children and their families and carers. Becoming reflects these changes and focuses on the knowledge, understanding and capabilities the children acquire with each new experience.

• Are individuals, with differing personalities, needs, wants, interests and levels of ability;
