G&T in the Creative Arts

At Annandale Public School we pride ourselves on being able to provide an expansive selection of extension activities in the Creative Arts. Our community tells us that they value student talents being developed not only in the traditional academic areas of literacy and numeracy but also in student leadership, dance, drama and music.

Opportunities include:

Drama Ensemble	Arts Unit Drama Festival	Selected by teacher panel
Arts Unit Dance Ensemble	Arts Unit	Individual students nominated by teacher to audition. Successful students participate and perform in a state dance ensemble.
Arts Unit Drama Ensemble	Arts Unit	Individual students nominated by teacher to audition. Successful students participate and perform in a state drama ensemble.
Arts Unit Music Ensemble	Arts Unit	Individual students nominated by teacher to audition. Successful students participate and perform in a state music ensemble.
Create East	Performing Arts Festival for students who excel in dance, drama, film and design.	Individual students nominated by teacher to audition. Successful students participate and perform in Create Easts production.
Arts Unit	The Arts Unit workshop day including; Character in Costume, Improvisation and Devising, Hip Hop Drama, Movement, Script Interpretation, Scriptwriting for a Monologue, and Voice and Accents.	Students nominated by teacher to audition.
