To celebrate the theme of NAIDOC week, our languages matter, 1PO'D made message sticks. Message sticks were a form of communication between Aboriginal clans and nations. They were carved pieces of wood decorated with symbols and designs conveying information. We decorated our message sticks with symbols of activities we participated in on NAIDOC day. We brought them home to see if our families could work out what we did.
