3C's Term Three Highlights1

3C's Highlights for Term 3

This week, the last week of term we brainstormed all the fabulous things we had done as a class and then selected the activities that we most enjoyed and now we would like to share with these with you.

Ollie: I enjoyed the Book Parade because it was fun dressing up as Mr Fox and walking around!

George: I had a great term, I really enjoyed Science Week. I liked making the bouncy balls.

Raja: I liked Open Day because my job was such fun. I had to get people to come to the kitchen. Then we got to eat the delicious scones that we made.

Dan: My favourite highlight of Term 3 was the Showcase because I liked all the dances and I enjoyed dancing.

Wilma:  When we were at Showcase I was so excited to do our dance. I enjoyed Showcase because we got to see lots of dancing and have loads of fun dancing to our song.

Cova: I enjoyed the Spelling Bee a little bit but I was disappointed that my friend didn't win. The Showcase was so much fun because we got to learn our dance with Dance 2BFit.

Violet: I liked Science Day because I got make a bouncy ball and a robotic hand.

Sean : My favourite thing that we did was Showcase.

Hamish: I enjoyed the Book Parade because we got to go with other people in other classes. I enjoyed getting to walk around as The Enormous Crocodile. Proud: I enjoyed showing my dance to my family in Showcase. At my old school only Year 7 children got to show their dances.

Owen: I liked the author visit because he was funny and he brought a magician. The magician had cool magic tricks. She even had a cool trick where she refilled a coke can.

Oscar: I liked the Showcase because it was a really good opportunity to perform at The Enmore Theatre.

Maddy: I really enjoyed Open Day because I was in Stage 2 choir and we got to sing in front of the parents. I also liked making delicious scones in Annabel's kitchen to share with all the pre-schoolers that came to visit.

Amy: I really liked the Showcase because we actually got to perform at The Enmore Theatre. We danced to our song "It's Raining on the Rock" Our costumes were so cool; the girls wore pretty dresses, mine was green. The boys wore a top and a sarong.

Aria: Public Speaking was a great experience for me because I was able to use my talent of Public Speaking. This is what I want to do when I grow up. I enjoyed the Spelling Bee too.

Polly: One of my highlights was Open Day. We got to open Annabel's kitchen and cook scones. I like cooking a lot. After that we got to serve the scones and I got to talk to the little kids. It was really good when some people said that the scones tasted really nice.

Hugh: The Athletics Carnival was my highlight. I am very competitive and so enjoyed competing in the races.

Nelson: I really enjoyed the Showcase because we got to wear fantastic costumes and I got to do a really cool trick in the dance. Now I've done the trick four years in a row!

Jacob: I liked the Showcase because we got to perform and dance our dance.

Anna: My highlights for Term 3 were the Showcase and the robotics lesson.

Marley: At the Athletics Carnival I did 100m, 200m and 800m.

I came second in 100m and fourth in 800m.

Preston: My favourite station on Science Day was the bouncy ball. Oscar grabbed the materials. We mixed the ingredients until it was unstoppable!

Thomas: I enjoyed the Athletics Carnival as the biggest highlight of Term 3. I raced in all the races I was able to. I made it to the districts in two events; 100m and 4x100m races.

Aidan: The Public Speaking was my favourite because I made it to the Stage Finals.

Isla: What I liked about this term was the Author Visit. It came with a really special treat which was a magic show. I also really liked the Dance 2BFit program. It was awesome.

Zoe: I have four highlights:

The Showcase for the dancing on the stage, robotics because I could play with a robot, Art rotations because I got to draw and the Stage 2 Spelling Bee so that I got to see who made it to the Regional Spelling Bee.
